Context

The client, a multinational chemical company, was keen to take proactive steps to increase the representation of women leaders across its different levels.

Through this intervention, the client wanted to empower and enable women leaders to challenge prevalent perceptions and self-imposed boundaries to achieve personal and professional success.

The client wanted to keep this programme open for women employees across the organisation. Hence, the challenge was to keep the content relevant to women from all age groups and levels.

Impact

The developmental inputs were well accepted by the participants.

The action toolkit shared with participants in the follow up session provided them with a structure to implement new behaviours in a purposeful manner and facilitated sustainable change.

Approach

BasilTree conducted discussions with business leaders, the HR team, as well as some employees from the programme target group to understand their expectations, challenges and opportunities.

The intervention was designed to be executed in two phases; the first phase comprised a virtual learning session aimed at facilitating a mindset shift, developing capabilities, and committing to actions.

The follow up session was conducted ninety days post the first session, aimed at reinforcing behaviours.
