Kartik turned entrepreneur nearly 25 years ago and long before it became fashionable – right after his Engineering and MBA – creating a venture in career guidance and development for students. He has since traversed the consulting world through top-notch firms such as Talent Q (KornFerry-Hay Group), SHL and Mercuri Urval, where he played a pivotal role in building their operations in India.

As Business Director at BasilTree, Kartik oversees all our client relationships and engagements. With over two decades in Account Management, Talent Consulting, and Executive Coaching, he personally partners some of BasilTree’s largest clients, helping them achieve strategic business goals through systems to identify, develop and engage the right talent.

The most Zen person at BasilTree, Kartik contradicts this with his belief that life begins outside one’s comfort zone and keenly pursues this philosophy. This explains him being an avid traveller, especially off-beat, an amateur photographer and a die-hard foodie!
