Jay has quickly immersed himself in a wide range of projects at BasilTree – from supporting Development Centres to contributing to leadership development journeys and shaping digital content initiatives. His ability to adapt and deliver across multiple fronts reflects both agility and a strong learning orientation.

With a background in Industrial Psychology, Jay brings prior experience in research, facilitation, and learning design. These early exposures equipped him with a strong foundation in people practices before he stepped into the world of consulting.

He has a keen interest in leveraging technology and analytics to inform future-facing work, especially in the context of business development and scalable learning solutions.

Outside work, Jay is an avid chess player and an enthusiastic follower of sports – particularly cricket, football, and chess – with a love for reading statistics and patterns. He regularly supports the welfare of stray animals in his neighbourhood, and on quieter days, he’s often found humming a tune to himself.
